A dual-band power divider based on higher-order modes of spoof surface plasmon polaritons

In this paper, a dual-band power divider is presented based on the propagation of higher-order modes spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs). A hollow rectangular groove introduced as unit cell, and its dispersion characteristics for higher fundamental mode are examined. Compared with traditional proposed cell provides extreme electromagnetic wave confinement modes. addition, second fourth even can be excited by coplanar waveguide. By utilizing transmission line designed so that operating bands controlled inner outer depth grooves. The SSPP manufactured tested to validate design procedure. Finally, measurement results show good agreement simulations, demonstrating effectiveness robustness
